Founded in 1997, Shanghai HINT Electronic Company Limited has pioneered high quality, export class offshore SMT and electronics assembly and test by offering high volume value and low total cost of project ownership. Their impressive customer base includes American based global companies as well as several brand name Japanese OEM’s.

Today Shanghai HINT employs over 450 people and occupies 82,500 square feet of manufacturing space in two facilities. HINT has six fully automated SMT lines operating 24 x 7.

The Promex—Shanghai HINT partnership allows customers an option for Santa Clara based SMT assembly with a pre-planned, seamless migration path to low cost at high volume, or alternatively, immediate transfer of high volume SMT (pcba) and/ or other commercial electronics assembly to China.

HINT is capable of providing full turnkey materials buying for strategic partnerships.
