About us

PROMEX is a unique materials-centric Packaging Foundry and IC Assembly Service based in Silicon Valley, California.   Partnering with PROMEX allows your company to do more… with less resources.   The highest quality standards are supported using SPC (Statistical Process Control) in a Quick Response Manufacturing environment.  Promex has been ISO registered since 1999 and is ITAR compliant for the military market.

 

We offer complete onshore IC and microelectronics assembly capabilities, quick turns through pre-Asia volumes, for many plastic over molded, plastic open cavity, most ceramic chip packages and complex custom modules in our 2,200 square foot, Class 1000 engineered clean room.   

 

Our high tech market focus utilizes our broad technical capabilities and materials know-how to tackle today’s Custom Packaging problem: integrating greater density, complexity and performance with smallest size and lowest cost utilizing RoHS compliant materials.   We fast track your NPI from prototypes through volume manufacturing while proactively providing DFM (design-for-manufacture) at each development phase for high first pass yield.

 

Fully automated, lead-free optimized surface mount lines (SMT) allow packaging technology integration for SiPs while providing high/ medium mix pcb assembly with 0201 component placement. 

 

Stable high volume SMT and labor intensive electronics assembly may be migrated to our export quality manufacturing partner in Shanghai, China.

 

Our customer base spans the high tech assembly and packaging world of Fabless Semiconductor, Military, Bio-tech, Bio-metric, Medical, RF, WiMax & WiFi, MEMS, MOEMS, Nano, Clean Tech/ Solar PV and the Photonics/ Optoelectronics markets.
